Exile Talks: Stand Up! is a special edition of our monthly event series, bringing together eight human rights defenders and press freedom advocates who were forced to leave their home countries. The event features speakers from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Iran, Russia, Sudan and Ukraine.
On this night, they’ll share the stories that rarely make headlines — but deserve to be heard.
